At Austin Chiropractic & Acupuncture Clinic we know an active community is a healthy community, that’s why we are committed to being a prominent figure in ours. We believe that giving back to the community strengthens families, offers enriching life experiences and allows ANYONE to make lasting differences in the lives of others. Many of the following organizations provide excellent volunteer opportunities if you are interested.
“On Memorial Day, May 31st, 2011, Daniel Curtis was injured in a diving accident, which resulted in a severe spinal cord injury. His family, friends and co-workers teamed up with The Lone Star Paralysis Foundation to stage a fundraiser in July 2011, raising over $65,000 to help with his medical expenses not covered by insurance. Daniel has made amazing strides in his recovery over the past year and has now vowed to pay it forward to help others with spinal cord injuries in need of medical assistance.”

This ranch offers therapeutic horse riding programs for children and adults with mental, physical, and emotional disabilities. Our donations to this amazing organization go directly toward helping the special needs clients, their families, and the horses. In the last two years we have been able to donate over $1,000 to Dream a Dream. We are running for those who can’t.”

We also believe that while acknowledging our strengths, our specific challenges, and our diversity, people must be nurtured and have a sense of belonging by cultivating acts of kindness.”
“Work hard. Play hard. That’s our motto at the Austin Young Chamber of Commerce. As young professionals in the Austin area we know that you work hard to develop yourself both personally and professionally. We also know that in a city like Austin there are countless ways to play hard. The AYC is where you can do both with other young professionals in the Austin community.”
